an approach.
A)
Unilever plc: Gary was brought into Unilever’s
Port Sunlight factory, a plant that was built over
100 years ago. Gary was asked to create a 2 day
programme for factory workers and managers that
would not only improve plant efficiency but
reawaken a sense of personal pride and ownership
among. Morale improved, productivity soared and
rates of absenteeism declined dramatically. The
course also generated a 99% Approval Rating from
those who attended.
B) Luminar Leisure plc: Gary was invited to work with a high potential but under-performing group of General Managers. Equipping the unit with fresh tools, ideas and communication skillsets, Gary challenged the team to create its own collective identity. ‘The Untouchables’ was born, complete with logo, crest and team values. Within 6 months, the team had lived up to it’s name - it was far and away the top performing unit in the UK.
